Live, Love, Run VB Challenge!

If you love running in Virginia Beach as much as we do then you'll want to participate in our Live, Love, Run VB Challenge!  Run the 2011 Blue Moon Wicked 10k, the 2011 Surf n Santa Ten Miler, the 2012 Virginia is for Lovers 14k and the 2012 Yuengling Shamrock Marathon or Anthem Half Marathon and you will receive a commemorative cooler for your efforts!

This year's Blue Moon Wicked 10k will be held on Saturday, October 29.  The 10k course takes you along the beautiful Virginia Beach Oceanfront.  This fast and flat course will begin at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on 19th Street.  Participants will run down 19th street, along Atlantic Avenue, down to Rudee Inlet and back up to the boardwalk to finish at 19th street along the ocean.  Start planning your costume now and be sure to stick around after the race for the costume contest and party with food from Baker's Crust and plenty of Blue Moon beer.

Join us on Saturday, December 3 for the Surf-n-Santa 10 Miler and Frosty's Fun Run (1 mile).  Enjoy a flat, fast course where runners will start and finish at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.  Santas of all shapes and sizes will run down 19th street, along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, up General Booth and back to the Convention Center.  We'll host a Rockin' after party inside the warmth of the Convention Center!  Add the Surf-n-Santa 10 Miler to the Live, Love, Run VB Challenge and you'll also receive a keepsake pint glass!

The upcoming Virginia is for Lovers 14k and 1.4 mile run on Saturday, February 11, 2012 features a flat, fast course where runners will have the option to run the entire 14k as an individual, participate in a relay with your sweetie or team up with a pal as a part of a couples team. You won't want to miss out on any of the fun with an after party with music by Rock Star Parking, food from Moe's Southwest Grill and plenty of Yuengling beer.

To top it all off, run in either the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon or Anthem Half Marathon on Sunday, March 18, 2012 and you will complete the Live, Love, Run VB Challenge!  The marathon and 1/2 marathon courses pass by the beautiful resort area of Virginia Beach and then continue through Fort Story where you will pass the Cape Henry Light House, the oldest in the country.  Finish your race on the boardwalk and then enjoy a hot Murphy's irish stew and cold Yuengling beer at the after party.
