Coach Greg Goudeau
Greg has been a social runner for over 15 years choosing to enter Saturday morning 5K, 8K and 10K races for the pure enjoyment of spending time with friends. The only goal in mind was to get sweaty and cross the finish line. In recent years, Greg’s competitive spirit created the desire to run longer and faster. Under the tutelage of coach Jerry, Greg has reached a number of goals in the last three years of competition including finishes at marathon and Ironman distance events.
My Philosophy - I’ve always run just for the pleasure of being outdoors and feeling my heart, lungs and legs working hard. Finishing in first place was never the goal, but rather consistent and measurable self improvement. As a teacher at heart, I enjoy introducing beginner runners to their hidden inner athlete through a personalized training program that focuses on building endurance and preserving the fun and enjoyment of running.
